Paint Preservation

While not as protective as PPF, a properly installed vinyl wrap shields your factory paint from sun exposure, debris, and everyday wear, keeping it in great condition for the long haul.

Easy to Remove or Replace

Unlike paint, vinyl wraps don’t last forever, and that’s the beauty of it. You can easily remove or replace them anytime, making vinyl wrap the perfect choice if you want a new look, seasonal refresh, or need to return a leased vehicle to stock condition.

QUESTIONS?

Top Notch Vinyl Wrap FAQ

  • How long does a vinyl wrap last?

With proper care, most wraps last between five and seven years. We only use high-quality films designed to handle the Pacific Northwest rain, sun, and road grime. Keep your vehicle clean and avoid harsh chemicals, and your wrap will stay looking sharp for years.

  • Can I take my wrapped car through a car wash?

We don’t recommend the drive-through car washes that use low-quality brushes and harsh chemicals. Hand washing or touchless car washes are the safest options. A soft microfiber wash keeps the surface clean without lifting edges or dulling the finish.

  • Will vinyl wrap damage my paint?

Vinyl wrap won’t damage your paint, as long as your paint is in good condition before we install it. In fact, wraps can help preserve your factory finish by keeping it covered from UV rays and light scratches. When removed properly, your paint underneath will look just like it did before.

  • Can I wrap only part of my car?

Absolutely. You can go full wrap, two-tone, or partial accents like hoods, roofs, mirrors, or chrome delete packages. We’ll help you choose a design that fits your budget and your vision.

  • How do I care for my vinyl wrap?

Treat it like you would a freshly detailed car. Hand wash regularly, avoid abrasive cleaners, and keep it stored indoors when possible. A little care goes a long way toward keeping your wrap flawless.

HOW WE DO IT

Our Top Notch Vinyl Wrap Installation Process

  • Surface Prep and Cleanse

We begin by giving your vehicle a wash and decontamination to strip away dirt, tar, grease, and bonded contaminants. We need a completely clean surface for the wrap to stick.

  • Inspection and Paint Correction (if Necessary)

Before we lay any vinyl, we inspect your paint under bright lighting. We flag swirl marks, scratches, or oxidation and correct them if needed. Why? Because sealing in flaws is not our style, we make sure what’s underneath is as flawless as possible.

  • Templating and Cutting

Each panel gets custom templated. We use precision-cut vinyl that matches your vehicle’s exact curves, edges, and lines. This avoids gaps, overhangs, or awkward transitions, giving you a seamless result that looks factory-level.

  • Heat and Tension Application

Next, we stretch and apply the vinyl carefully using heat, tension, and our professional installation tools. We work panel by panel, smoothing edges and eliminating bubbles. In tricky areas such as corners, door jambs, curves we take our time to make it perfect.

  • Edge Wrap and Sealing

Once everything lies flush, we wrap and tuck edges where possible. We seal high-stress zones and make sure no corner is exposed. This step holds your wrap in place and keeps it looking sharp long term.

  • Final Inspection

We go over the entire vehicle, checking edges, seams, and transitions. We clean the surface, remove any slip solution residue, and make sure your car leaves our shop looking absolute fire. Then we walk you through care tips so your wrap lasts.
